DELPHI®, a brand of PHINIA Inc. (NYSE: PHIN), is set to transform workshop operations with the launch of its DS Hub, a central hub designed to streamline diagnostics and elevate technician efficiency. As the highlight of Delphi's showcase at Automechanika Frankfurt 2024, DS Hub addresses the evolving complexities of vehicle systems and offers an all-in-one gateway for workshops across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to access Delphi’s comprehensive diagnostics and digital solutions.

The Ultimate Solution for Faster, Smarter Diagnostics

As vehicle technology advances, the need for more sophisticated diagnostics grows. DS Hub meets this demand by serving as a central platform where technicians can quickly access vital resources—from passenger car and heavy-duty vehicle data to technical information, training modules, and parts catalogues—all in one place. By integrating these essential tools, DS Hub helps technicians diagnose and complete jobs more efficiently, ultimately boosting workshop profitability.

“DS Hub isn’t just about diagnostics; it’s about delivering a premium experience that saves time and drives better results for technicians,” said Juan Thomaz, EMEA Vice President of Aftermarket at PHINIA. “We’ve created a seamless, all-in-one solution that addresses the key pain points that our customers face daily, and we believe it is going to be critical to every job, for every technician, across every workshop.”

With thousands of Delphi diagnostic tools and solutions already in the aftermarket, DS Hub represents a critical touchpoint for workshops looking to enhance their capabilities. In a market where the integration of data and diagnostic tools is becoming increasingly important, DS Hub positions Delphi as the diagnostics partner of choice, encouraging customer retention and driving business growth.

“Our goal is to become the most trusted diagnostics partner in the aftermarket. DS Hub is a significant step towards achieving that by combining everything technicians need in one central hub,” added Neil Fryer, Global Vice President of Aftermarket at PHINIA. “We’re excited to bring this innovation to the market and see how it transforms workshop operations across the region.”

Key Features of DS Hub:

  • Comprehensive access to diagnostics, training, how-to videos, parts catalogues, integrated technical data, and more
  • Streamlined setup for new users with a step-by-step integration process
  • Exclusive access to real-world data for auto part manufacturers, providing insights into common faults, market trends, and new product development

Future DS Hub updates planned for 2025 include advanced remote diagnostics features, further solidifying Delphi’s leadership in the aftermarket sector.

A Holistic Approach to Workshop Efficiency: New Training Solutions and Facilities

Beyond the launch of DS Hub, Delphi is introducing two other solutions at Automechanika Frankfurt that underscore its commitment to supporting technicians and enhancing workshop efficiency. First, Delphi is rolling out a new eBooking system for training. Already being trialled in the UK and soon to be available across EMEA and the US, the system automates the traditionally manual process of booking training sessions, replacing spreadsheets with a streamlined digital platform. Its smart functionality and intuitive design make it easier and more efficient for technicians to see available courses, book sessions, and enhance their skills.

Adding to this push for improved training is the upcoming opening of Delphi’s new UK Training Centre in Warwick. This state-of-the-art facility, set to open in Q4 2024, doubles Delphi’s training capacity with the ability to deliver 6,000 courses annually. The centre features a fully integrated showroom and recording studio, allowing for a diverse range of training experiences. Focused on IMI-accredited programs across all levels, including electric vehicle (EV) and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) certifications, the centre is attracting technicians from all over the world and plays a crucial role in preparing technicians for the complexities of modern vehicle systems.

The Warwick facility forms part of a broader Delphi initiative to expand and enhance its global training infrastructure, with the aim of ensuring technicians worldwide are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge to service increasingly complex vehicle systems.

With these new developments, Delphi is positioning itself as a leader in both diagnostics and technician training, offering comprehensive solutions that address the evolving needs of workshops across the automotive aftermarket.
