Course Overview
Identification of faults using exhaust emissions data requires a thorough understanding of the gasses involved and also the related ECU controls. Techniques include testing of the system via analysis of the exhaust gasses using emissions test equipment along with proprietary diagnostic equipment.

- Catalytic converter operation and diagnosis.

- Interpretation of emissions gas values to aid diagnosis of engine management faults.
