Delphi Technologies launches new top strut mount program to help aftermarket take advantage of fast-growing replacement market

The new strut mount range offers business growth opportunities for distributors, and garages, by providing another OE-quality, steering and suspension solution.
The all-in-one-box solution saves garages time and money, ensuring a right-first-time repair.

WARWICK, UK, May 22, 2019 – Delphi Technologies is adding to its comprehensive aftermarket portfolio with the launch of a new top strut mount program. Building on the company’s proven steering and suspension line-up, the rubber-to-metal parts are engineered to the same exacting OE standards for a quiet, comfortable and safe ride. And with more than 100 part numbers, supplied with fitting accessories as per the OE, it provides distributors and garages with a high-quality solution in a fast-growing market.

The European steering and suspension market, which includes rubber-to-metal parts, is forecast to grow by three percent per annum, largely due to the rising number of potholes and other road defects, coupled with consumers expectations for an improved ride. To meet the increasing demand for replacement parts, Delphi Technologies’ new top strut mount program includes more than 100 part numbers, fitted to over 7,900 applications, such as BMW Mini, Ford Fiesta and VW Golf. This takes the company’s coverage of the European steering and suspension market to over 90 percent, with more additions planned throughout 2019.

“The poor condition of our roads is hitting motorists hard in more ways than one,” comments Jean-Francois Bouveyron, vice president, Delphi Technologies Aftermarket - EMEA. “By fitting our top strut mounts, garages will be able to lessen both the financial and physical impact for their customers - offering a quality, long-lasting repair that will get their car back on the road quickly, maximize future service intervals and offer excellent protection for a safe and comfortable ride. This will help forge lasting and trusted customer relationships, and ultimately generate new business.”

Featuring the same high-quality rubber compounds, plated steel and superior bonding as the rest of its rubber-to-metal range, Delphi Technologies’ top strut mounts provide the optimum combination of strength, flexibility and noise and vibration reduction, whilst also ensuring a smooth and responsive ride. They also come with SAE grade installation hardware, including OE bearings, for a quick, reliable and professional service.

“By streamlining the vehicle repair and maintenance process, we make the lives of parts managers and technicians easier,” concludes Bouveyron. “Like other steering parts, when you buy a top strut mount from Delphi Technologies, you’ll receive the necessary fitting accessories, as per the OE. As well as a best-practice, longer-lasting repair, the all-in-one-box solution will save garages time and money, by ensuring the right parts are available from the outset. When a profitable service depends on fast, right-first-time fitment, this is key.”
