Does DS-CLOUD support both the classic and new software interfaces?
DS-CLOUD is compatible with both interfaces; however, we strongly recommend using the New User Interface. When the classic interface is used, data will not be fully uploaded into DS-CLOUD.

Is it possible to search by VIN?
Yes. A vehicle can be found by its VIN if the latter has been entered during the vehicle selection in the DS software.

If I have several VCIs in my workshop, does DS-CLOUD allow me to view the reports by VCI and the “total” statistics for my workshop?
DS-CLOUD links with the tablet or laptop, not a specific VCI. If your workshop has multiple tablets or laptops you can link them all to a single DS-CLOUD account to see all activity.
If your company has multiple locations with multiple devices, we suggest keeping them on separate DS-CLOUD accounts. In a future update we will provide administrator access to be able to view data from multiple DS-CLOUD accounts.

What happens with the Diagnostic reports generated during the period of DS license interruption?
The reports are loaded as soon as the tool is connected to Internet. They are securely saved on the server, and currently accessible regardless of the license status. However, an expired license may limit the functionality of the DS-CLOUD platform.

What to do if the vehicle owner doesn’t consent to the registration of his data?
DS-CLOUD doesn’t manage the vehicle owner or driver’s personal data. However, the VIN and the registration plate number can be considered as personal data. This data is managed in line with the GDPR regulation, supported by the privacy policy and the Data Processing Agreement in place. The vehicle owner/driver has the possibility to reject the use of his data by sending a request to [email protected].

Does DS-CLOUD cover the 2 latest generations of Delphi Diagnostic tools?
Yes. As long as you have a DS-CLOUD account, the management of your reports are independent from the type of Delphi VCI you used to diagnose the vehicles.

Is it possible to delete some sessions?
Yes. However, the deletion is permanent.

Can a user un-register from one DS-CLOUD account and register with another?
At this time, users cannot perform this action themselves. To un-register from a DS-CLOUD account, please contact the Technical Support team. A support operator can assist remotely via TeamViewer to complete the process.

What happens if I replace the tablet or PC of my DS tool (in case of failure, Exchange or Upgrade)?
If you replace your tablet or PC, whatever the reason, you need to register the new device to the DS-CLOUD account. The data from the previous device (laptop or tablet) and the associated reports remain accessible.

What are the benefits of DS-CLOUD for an Aftermarket Distributor with a network of workshops?
In addition to all the benefits provided to an independent workshop, DS-CLOUD can be linked to the Workshop Management System used by a network of workshops. The Network manager can retrieve insights about the most common fault codes, the brands and models serviced in the garages. These insights allow to plan for vehicle parts stock, promotional activities, targeted training sessions and much more.

What are the benefits of DS-CLOUD for a small independent workshop?
The feature allows to securely save all the Diagnostic reports generated by the workshop, access, filter, search and view the data anytime and from anywhere.
DS-CLOUD also allows to build the history of the vehicles of loyal customers. This makes it quicker to understand and diagnose later issues on the considered vehicles.
The DS-CLOUD dashboard provides insights to the garage about all the brands, models and vehicle systems diagnosed. Thanks to the vehicle history, DS-Cloud also helps delivering a better technical service to the workshop.

Is it possible to delete the full history of a vehicle?
Currently, it is not possible to deplete all the history in one operation. For the complete deletion, you need to do it for each session associated to that vehicle.

What is DS-CLOUD?
This is a cloud-based PHINIA Delphi solution, used for the storage of OBD Diagnostics reports and the delivery of insights to the customer.
Each workshop using Delphi Diagnostics can and should create his DS-Cloud account and link it to his device (PC/tablet).

Is it possible to retrieve the reports generated before the DS-CLOUD account creation?
At registration of a new device (PC or tablet), the history of sessions created since the DS software version 2022.00 is automatically synchronized and becomes accessible.

As an independent garage, you simply need a DS tool and create a DS-CLOUD account. DS-CLOUD is accessible from DS-HUB.

DS-HUB has been developed for the Delphi Diagnostics community (DS software-users). It has been pre-installed to all new DS450 and DS480 solutions since June 2024. The solution is following a gradual roll-out plan with the target of being available to all users and devices by the end of 2024.

DS HUB only works with the New User Interface. DS HUB detects when the old UI is used and propose/recommend the user to switch interface.

Yes. It is possible to customize the task bar (show / hide / change position), display and hide some applications, activate/deactivate the splash screen. More customizations will be available over time.

What are the main features of DS HUB?
One key feature is represented by the onboarding process for new users, a step by step guide will support the user to activate the DS software, create a VTI (Vehicle Technical Information) account, create a Security Gateway account and an eLearning account. This will ensure that new customers are supported since the very beginning and, upon set-up completion, can enjoy the full potential of the tool. In addition, from the HUB the end-user will be able to access the Diagnostic software, VTI, eLearning, Parts Catalogue, how-to videos, information about the license status and more. Everything from the same home page and without ever leaving the HUB.

Does DS HUB lock if my DS license is expired?
When the DS license expires, DS HUB remains accessible and displays the status of that license. As some functions in the DS software become inactive at the expiry of the license, this leads to a "degraded" mode of DS HUB as well.

Is DS HUB linked to my VCI, my dongle or my tablet/PC? Do I need to re-install it if I change my device?
DS HUB is installed on your tablet/PC. If you replace the VCI and/or the security Dongle, there is no need to re-install DS HUB. The serial number of the new hardware will be automatically detected and displayed where necessary. If you replace the Delphi tablet by a new one, the latter will come with both the Diagnostic core software and DS HUB pre-installed.

Does DS HUB replace the LAT software or any other components related to DS software?
No. DS HUB is a new software component and doesn’t replace any existing applications.
