Gas Direct Injection (GDI) is rapidly replacing sequential port fuel injection on today’s vehicles. This training course goes beyond the introduction of GDI systems with real world service and diagnostics on trending problems encountered with these systems. We'll cover common problems within both the low and high side pressure sections of these systems, drivability complaints and scan tool data analysis. We’ll also cover dual SFI / GDI systems found on some vehicles as well as an introduction to the 350 bar (over 5,000 PSI) systems being introduced on new vehicles.
