Delphi Technologies announces another 8 first-to-market brake pads for Land Rover, Vauxhall, DS, Hyundai, Audi and Volkswagen in European aftermarket braking program

WARWICK, UK, September 14, 2020 – Delphi Technologies announces an additional eight additional first-to-market brake pads in its aftermarket braking program, further positioning the company as a first-mover supplier in Europe. Building on a history of launching first-to-market solutions, these latest applications join the company’s brake pad line-up to offer more than 98.5 percent coverage for the European car parc. Delphi Technologies quick off the mark braking program provides a huge advantage to its customers, allowing workshops to generate additional revenue by accessing the repair business on these newer vehicles sooner, increasing both profitability and customer retention.

New service opportunities now for new models

First announced in an eight-part series on both the company’s website and social media channels, Delphi Technologies added first-to-market coverage of 8 OE brake pads for popular car and LCV vehicles to their aftermarket braking program:

  • Land Rover Discovery Sport/Range Rover Evoque (05/2019>), front pads
  • Opel/Vauxhall Movano (08/2019>), front pads
  • Opel/Vauxhall Movano (08/2019>), rear pads
  • DS 7 Crossback (05/2019>), front pads
  • Hyundai i10 (09/2019>), front pads
  • A6 Allroad Quattro/A6 Quattro/A8 Quattro/Q7 Quattro/S8 Quattro (11/2019>), rear pads
  • Audi Q3/Q3 Sportback/Q3 Sportback Quattro, Volkswagen Tiguan (11/2019>), rear pads
  • Audi A6/A6 Quattro/A7 Sportback Quattro (01/2019>), rear pads

A history of first-to-market applications for brakes

Quick to bring the right parts to the aftermarket in the shortest possible timeframe, Delphi Technologies has a history of first-to-market brake pads. These previous applications include the Audi Q8 (02/2018>), Ford Focus IV (01/18) and Fiesta ST (05/18>), Toyota Supra (06/19>), Land Rover Defender (2020>), and Volkswagen Golf MK8 (2020>). For both the Land Rover and Volkswagen applications, the company achieved a milestone in speed to market by being quicker than the vehicle manufacturer.
